Artist Biography
Jason was born in Green Bay Wisconsin during the1970's. After graduating from high school, he moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Jason's goal was to make a living creating artwork for film and video games. At present, Jason work full time developing video game and spends his freetime creating art for personal projects.
Artist Statement
Jason Felix is a multi-faceted artist that explores the fine line between hyperrealism and surrealism. He infuses traditional methods of drawing and painting with modern day technology of digital cameras and computers. The end result is a fusion of different mediums that are harmoniously unified to create a new evolution in art. Compelling, provocative, shocking… these are a few ways to describe Jason’s imagery. OBSOLETE explores an arcane world that is shrouded with symbolism where humanoid robots are no longer in use and are forgotten.
