Artist Biography
I was born in 1953 in Angoulême. I still live and work in this town, located in Southwestern France. I attained my National fine Arts Diploma (Sculpture, Mention for drawing) In 1977. I did many personal and group exhibitions, first local and then international since the year 2003. Allthough I cannot make a living with my painting (I have to work from time to time as a background designer for cartoons for TV) I am really glad and proud to have now some works in private collections over the world, to have won two important digital art first prizes in 2003 and 2004 and to be featured in the splendid book « Digital Art for the 21st Century » .

Statement
Imagination and chance hold a large place in the creation of my pictures, which are also works of experimentation and research.
What I love in the process, which is some kind of "stream of consciousness", is the discovery of the painting I am making, cause I do not know what will happen until the end…
